WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Charlotte women's tennis tallied one singles victory and added two in doubles play as day two action concluded at the Wake Forest Invitational in Winston-Salem.
The lone triumph in singles came from junior Alexandra Lee, who earned a walk-over win against Davidson's Megan Scholvinck in the B2 consolation semifinals. Lee will meet up with Virginia's Camille Favero in the consolation finals Sunday.
In doubles, the 49ers' pairing of junior Tai Martin and freshman Rocio Safont knocked off Appalachian State's Heidi Swope and María José Zacarias 8-2 in the A flight consolation semifinals.
