WILMINGTON, N.C. – Despite the limited roster sent to the beach this weekend, the Charlotte women's tennis program continued to add to the victory column Saturday during round two action at the Seahawk Invitational, an event play hosted by UNCW.
SINGLES TAKES TWO
The 49ers found their footing in singles action against the host Seahawks Saturday, claiming two of the three singles matches between the two programs.
Junior Emma Scott handed UNCW's Lea Dubois-Rebiere a 6-4, 6-3 straight-set loss, while senior Immie Cowper closed out a 6-2, 1-6, 10-6 triumph over Annie Gupta.
