Charlotte, N.C. – Behind a goal by Axel Sigurdarson and another solid defensive performance, the 21st-ranked Charlotte 49ers tallied a 1-0 shutout victory over Davidson in their final exhibition game.
GOAL
In the 28th minute, Luke Johnson passed the ball from the left side of the box across to Maclean Holbrook at the top of the six-yard box. Holbrook passed to Sigurdarson who put the ball into the lower right corner of the goal giving the 49ers a 1-0 lead
