PITTSBURGH – Charlotte's own Larry Ogunjobi, now with the NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers, has been named one of the league's 32 nominees for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, the league's most revered honor, the Steelers announced on Thursday.
The award recognizes players who excel on the field and demonstrate a steadfast commitment to creative a positive impact beyond the game. Each of the NFL's 32 teams selects a player from their roster, and Ogunjobi earned the Steelers' nomination in 2024.
