Charlotte, N.C. – Charlotte 49ers men's soccer senior defender Callum Montgomery was named to the Premier Development League's (PDL) All-League team. The premier development league is a summer league that provides elite college players the opportunity to play a high level of competition while maintaining their eligibility.
Montgomery, who played for the Victoria Highlanders FC in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, also earned PDL All-Western Conference honors. Montgomery is ranked as the 19th best prospect in the PDL. This summer, Montgomery saw action in 882 minutes while scoring two goals and helping the Highlanders record two shutouts.
