Milos Supica has had to make multiple adjustments in his life, from moving to the United States, to coming to college and now taking a leadership role on the 49ers basketball team.
First, he had to become accustomed to a whole new lifestyle after moving from Serbia to Fayetteville, North Carolina the summer before his junior year in high school.
"I had to make big adjustment, basketball and living-wise. It's a whole different culture. I had to get used to it pretty quick, I barely knew English," Supica said.
Though he wasn't familiar with the country or the language, Supica had his sights set on taking his game to the collegiate level before he left his home country.
