INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana - Senior Victoria Merriweather will represent the Charlotte track & field program at the 2017 NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships, the organization announced Tuesday night. The meet will be held at Texas A&M's Gilliam Indoor Stadium on March 10th and 11th.
The thrower will be one of 16 student-athletes from across the country to compete in the women's weight throw after qualifying with a throw of 21.40 meters at the 2017 Conference USA Indoor Championships. Her event is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 11th.
