MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - After breaking three school records, totaling 11 personal bests and winning four gold medals, five silver medals and five bronze medals on the day, the Charlotte 49ers men's track and field team won its third straight outdoor Conference USA title and seventh overall outdoor conference championship with 169 points, beating second-place UTEP by 43. The men's team also successfully completed the Triple Crown for the first time in Charlotte history after winning the conference titles in cross country, indoor and outdoor this year. The women's team claimed the fourth-place spot after collecting 95.25 points in the meet.
