TEMPE, Ariz. – Charlotte men's tennis was recognized Monday by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association for its work in the classroom during the 2020-21 academic year. The 49ers were one of 145 Division I programs to receive the Team Academic Award, while seven members of the squad were tabbed as ITA Scholar Athletes.
TEAM ACADEMIC SUCCESS
The criteria for the team award includes having a team grade point average of 3.2 or higher, all student-athletes listed on the eligibility form and varsity letterwinners factoring into the team GPA for the current academic year.
