CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Charlotte men's soccer will play its first exhibition game of the 2016 season on Tuesday night when the Belmont Bruins make their way to Transamerica Field for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
The Niners will look to translate their work on the practice field into game action as they continue to prepare for a campaign carrying high expectations. After tallying an 11-6-3 record and reaching the second round of the NCAA Tournament, Charlotte was voted the 22nd-ranked team in the nation according to the NSCAA Coaches Poll and picked to finish second in Conference USA in a vote amongst the league's head coaches.
