CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte men's golf shot a one-over 285 on Wednesday afternoon ultimately coming up two shots shy of a trip to the National Championship tournament in a couple of weeks. The 49ers finished one-under for the tournament in sixth place, just two shots shy of NC State and Clemson in the final transfer spots.
"It's always a bit harder when you get that close to achieving a goal and come up just a couple of shots short," began Head Coach Ryan Cabbage. "But, I'm still very proud of these guys for their effort and for their play to give ourselves an opportunity to advance onto the finals.
