BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - A strong second day of the 2017 Conference USA Indoor Track & Field Championships, filled with podium finishes and personal records, earned the Charlotte men 4th out of 10 teams with _ points and the Charlotte women 8th out of 13 teams with _ points at the Birmingham CrossPlex.
The men's 4x400-meter relay quartet of Saadiq Sweezer, Malik Keaton, Jayon Woodard and Jay Wilkins snagged silver in the event with a time of 3:12.16, breaking the Charlotte school record of 3:13.71 which has stood since 2003.
