CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Charlotte men's cross country program put their best foot forward to open the 2018 season with a victory at the Charlotte Opener at Frank Liske Park on Friday, Aug. 31. Tom Nobles took home the crown of Individual Champion as the 49ers had five top-10 finishers in the 5,000-meter race.
Behind a plethora of new personal records, the Charlotte men's cross country team picked up their first team victory of the season, scoring 24 points, beating out four other opponents on the trails.
"I believe we did a really good job of controlling the race and dictating out front," head coach Joseph Lynn said.
