Charlotte, N.C. – Senior Jordi Massalle Ferrer tied Charlotte’s career singles wins record in the 49ers 4-0 win over Duquesne at the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex.
“I’m really proud of our guys,” Charlotte coach Jesse Tarr said. “We defeated a tough Duquesne team today. Sam Rice played brilliant tennis and got us on the board. Our senior captains, Jordi Massalle Ferrer and Vikram Hundal were rocks for us, as they always are. Oriol Puig Forne came back from an early deficit to clinch the match for us. Alejandro Garcia Moreno and Jensen Martin were locked in tight battles that went unfinished.
