IRVING, Texas – Charlotte rising junior women's tennis standout Tai Martin has been honored as the school's Spring Spirit of Service Award winner, as announced by Conference USA Wednesday. Martin joins 13 other student-athletes from around the league, one from each school, to be recognized by commissioner Judy MacLeod during the winter sports season including tennis, golf, baseball, softball, outdoor track & field and beach volleyball.
The award is designed to recognize the community service efforts of the league's student-athletes, based upon significant community service, good academic standing and participation in their elected sport.
