Standing behind the cage during batting practice, Georgia head coach Scott Stricklin watched his Bulldogs rocket balls over the short left-field porch at BB&T Ballpark, home of the Charlotte Knights, Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox.
"Man, this place is great, isn't it?" the third-year coach observed, preparing to face the home-team Charlotte 49ers. "Great city, great ballpark, great opponent -- this is a good day at the office.
