CHARLOTTE, N.C. – For the second-straight season, the Charlotte baseball team placed a pair of freshmen on Collegiate Baseball's All-American team. Christian Lothes and Will Butcher earned 2021 honors after Dominic Pilolli and David McCabe did a year ago.

Lothes had a phenomenal first full season in 2021 after making just one appearance in the shortened 2020 campaign. Lothes made 21 appearances on the year, third-most on the team, with a 4-0 record and team-high eight saves to go along with a 3.
