CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte 49er softball program dedicated the Lewis Family Softball Training Facility in front of the Lewis family, friends of the program, and the current team on Friday, Sept. 13. The team has practiced inside the facility for the last three weeks but now finally had the opportunity for the grand-opening the facility deserved, as a thank you to the Lewis family for their generosity.

The Lewis family's involvement with the 49ers started in 2011 when Robbie Lewis joined the board of the Charlotte 49er Athletic Foundation.
