CHARLESTON, S.C. — Alexandra Lee completed a perfect start to her senior campaign with the Charlotte women's tennis program and was named the CSU Invitational Singles Winner to highlight Saturday's action for the 49ers.
Lee played just one singles match Saturday but she handed Filippa Ericson of host Charleston Southern 6-3, 6-3, to complete the 2-0 start.
Also moving to 2-0 in singles play early in 2018 was sophomore Rocio Safont, who handed the Buccaneers' Nevena Georgieva a 6-0, 6-1 setback.
The two Niners then worked together in doubles to defeat CSU's Georgieva and Madalina Man, 6-3.
