MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A three-run home run from Johnny Sutryk in the eighth inning capped off a stretch of six unanswered runs for Charlotte Baseball to erase a 4-0 deficit in a 6-4 win over Memphis on Sunday afternoon (March 30).
The win completed the sweep of the Tigers (11-16, 0-6 American) for Charlotte (14-12, 4-2 American), after picking up victories of 7-1 and 7-4 over the first two games of the weekend.
Sutryk entered the series against Memphis without a hit on the year but picked up his first of the season on Saturday before a two-hit day in the finale, complete with the go-ahead homer in the eighth.
