CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A five-game win streak and surge into first place in the Conference USA standings takes the Charlotte women's soccer program on the road for one final away regular-season game Thursday night. The 49ers travel to Birmingham, Alabama, to square off against UAB at 8 p.m. ET.

Charlotte improved to 10-3 overall and 5-1 in league play following Sunday's 5-2 triumph over Middle Tennessee. The 15 points (three for a win; one for a tie) in the conference put the Niners ahead by three entering this week's action and ahead of North Texas, Florida Atlantic and WKU who have collected 12 points apiece.
