BRISTOL, Conn. – Charlotte's Octavia Jett-Wilson added to her growing mantle of awards, this week, as she was named as the Feb. 16 ESPN.com National Player of the Week. She is the first player in school history to earn the honor.
HISTORY IN THE RECORD BOOKS
Jett-Wilson's accolade is the first such national player of the week award in the program's 46-year history, which was selected by members of the women's basketball staff at ESPN.com and ESPNW. She joins Jada McMillian as the only national weekly award recipients, of any kind, in school history after McMillian was tabbed the Feb.
