INDIANAPOLIS – A second national accolade was bestowed upon Charlotte's Octavia Jett-Wilson, this week, as the senior guard was named to the Feb. 17 NCAA Starting Five after her record-breaking performances in the two games against Old Dominion, last week.
ADDING TO HER TROPHY CASE
Jett-Wilson's mantle is filling up as she has now claimed five different awards since Monday. In addition to her first career NCAA Starting Five plaudit, she was named the ESPN.com National Player of the Week Tuesday.
Monday brought home a Conference USA co-Player of the Week honor from the league as well as College Sports Madness' High Major National Player of the Week and Conference USA Player of the Week nods.
