CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte women's soccer turns its attention to a pair of home games, this week, as the season hits its third week of action. The 49ers will play host to Liberty at 6 p.m. Thursday before welcoming ETSU to town for a 7 p.m. Sunday start.
It marks the first time this fall the Niners will be home for two-straight matches, as each of the first two weekends have seen the squad play at Transamerica Field on a Friday before traveling for a road game Sunday.
As announced earlier in the week, fans are invited to help celebrate and honor the career of Whitney Weinraub (2007-10) who will become the third player in program history to have her jersey recognized this weekend.
