Charlotte, N.C. - For the second week in a row, a Charlotte track and field athlete has amassed conference honors as senior Jayon Woodard garnered Conference USA's Male Track Athlete of the Week after having a conference-leading week.
HOW HE DID IT
Woodard competed in two events at the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational hosted by Liberty University. He finished first out of 37 athletes in the 400m with a season-best time of 46.95, a mark that ranks second in Conference USA and 31st nationally. This 400m time would rank second in school indoor history if Woodard wasn't already ranked in that same spot with his 2019 mark of 46.
