IRVING, Texas -- Filip Jauk and Daire McCarthy were honored by the American Athletic Conference as Jauk was named the league's Offensive Player of the Week and McCarthy was named Freshman of the Week following Sunday's 3-2 victory at Lipscomb.
Both Jauk and McCarthy scored goals in the win.
Jauk scored the eventual game-winner in the 75th minute with a header. He provided the answer after Lipscomb tied the match with a 71st minute goal. The Maribor, Slovenia native now has a team-high three goals scored through four games this season.
