CHARLOTTE – A slow start to the second half proved costly for Charlotte Women's Basketball, as the 49ers dropped Wednesday's American Athletic Conference contest to the Tulsa Golden Hurricane by a score of 81-53.

"We must keep working on correcting our mistakes," said Head Coach . "Playing with discipline down the stretch and playing together. Our goal coming into the game was to run them off the three-point line, but they shot the ball great tonight. We were late on too many closeouts that led to open shots for Tulsa. UAB is a great shooting team as well so we must make this correction fast.
