CHARLOTTE, N.C. - For the second year in a row, junior Chandler Horton is one of six women named to Conference USA's Cross Country All-Academic team as announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon.
The civil engineering major from San Clemente, Calif., boasts an impressive 3.862 cumulative GPA. She is a two-time C-USA Commissioner's Medal recipient, made the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and Perfect Niner list twice, the Chancellor's List three times and was on the Fall 2019 Dean's List.
Horton ran in all three of Charlotte's meets this year. She started the season off with a bang at the Mountains to Sea Open hosted by App State, where she was only a second off from surpassing her personal record time with a 5k of 17:17.
