Wednesday marked the second game of a back to back for the Hornets. Tuesday night, Charlotte dismantled the Phoenix Suns, 126-92, inside Time Warner Cable Arena. A matchup with the 76ers meant a battle of two teams going in opposite directions. Charlotte is in the thick of the Eastern Conference playoff race, while Philadelphia has been on a downward spiral the entire season. It was very important for Charlotte to come into Philadelphia focused, and ready to take care of business against the eight-win 76ers.
Since the Hornets were coming off of a back to back, it may be expected that fatigue could play a role against Philadelphia.
