Charlotte 49ers' head football coach Brad Lambert has announced that Assistant Head Coach Dean Hood has resigned to accept a position as Special Teams Coordinator/Outside Linebackers Coach with the University of Kentucky. Hood spent one year as the 49ers' assistant head coach, working primarily with the 49ers' offensive unit as Tight Ends Coach while also serving as the 49ers' Special Teams Coordinator.
"Coach Hood was extremely helpful to us over the past year working with our offense and our special teams," said Lambert, "We are excited for him and this opportunity to coach in the SEC.
