Charlotte let one slip away. After taking a third quarter lead and extending it to 13 points, 26-13 midway through the fourth quarter, the 49ers gave up a pair of FIU TDs in the final five minutes to fall to the Panthers, 27-26, in the annual Homecoming Game at Jerry Richardson Stadium.

Charlotte (2-5; 1-2) did so much right, throughout the game.
