CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A decisive and historic second quarter gave the Charlotte women's basketball team a 69-59 victory over Old Dominion Saturday afternoon in the 49ers' annual #Play4Kay game. It marked the first of two back-to-back meetings against the Lady Monarchs over the next week. The triumph improved the Niners' home mark to 12-2 this year, matching 2012-13 and 2015-16 for the most Halton Arena victories in a regular season under head coach Cara Consuegra.
