CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte women's tennis needed just over two hours to claim a dominating 6-1 victory over Presbyterian Sunday evening in the 49ers' home opener and their first match indoors at Life Time Fitness, Onyx Premier Club in south Charlotte. The Niners rolled from start-to-finish, completing all of their singles matches in straight sets after earning the doubles point for the second-straight match.
In doubles, the No. 3 pairing of junior Alexandra Lee and freshman Rocio Safont handed the Blue Hose' Brittany Nuttall and Beth Taylor a 6-1 setback to open the contest.
