CHARLOTTE, N.C. – For the first time this season, Charlotte recorded back-to-back wins as the 49ers women's tennis team defeated Lenoir-Rhyne, 6-1, Saturday evening. The 49ers earned their second victory of the season and finished Saturday's doubleheader unbeaten.
"A very impressive first match (against Wofford, earlier Saturday), as we won the doubles playing the right way and started fast in singles," head coach Anthony Davison said.
"In the second, we switched our lineup a little. We dominated in most spots but had to tough it out in a couple, too. Overall, it was a great day and we're excited for next weekend.
