Harley caps prep career with solid senior season

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Lauren Harley, who is set to debut for Charlotte women’s basketball in 2016-17, put together a strong final high school year before she joins the 49ers in a few short months. The 5-10 guard from Blythewood High School (Columbia, South Carolina) is the lone signee for the program next year.

Harley averaged 17.5 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game for the Bengals. Her season was highlighted by a triple-double of 18 points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals in December against Eau Claire HS. She nearly had another in the next game, falling one steal shy while adding seven blocks in a matchup with Fairfield Central HS.
