CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte 49ers head women's basketball coach Cara Consuegra has announced the promotion of Ciara Gregory into a full-time assistant coach position with the program starting with the 2021-22 season. Gregory remains on staff after serving as a graduate manager in each of the last-two years.

"After a thorough search for a new assistant coach, it became very clear that the right fit was right here at home," Consuegra said. "Ciara Gregory has poured her heart and soul into Charlotte, and now, I am pleased to announce that she will continue to do so as an assistant coach.
