DALLAS – Charlotte senior forward Megan Greene has earned the Conference USA co-Offensive Player of the Week award, as announced by the league office Monday afternoon. It marks her first career honor and the second by the program in as many weeks.
MAKING HISTORY
Greene, a Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, native, opened last week in record-breaking fashion by tallying her second-straight hat trick in Thursday's home win over Campbell. She became the first player in program history with back-to-back hat tricks, which is also believed to be a rare feat in NCAA history.
