CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte men's golf saw two players earn postseason awards from Conference USA as John Gough and Ben Woodruff were named first and all-freshman team members on Friday afternoon presented by Ready Nutrition.
"I'm super excited for John and Ben," began Head Coach Ryan Cabbage. "Both of these guys deserve this wonderful recognition."
Gough, selected to the NCAA Athens Regional, led the team with a 72.34 stroke average as the only member to play in all 11 events and 32 rounds on the year. The junior put together a whopping 17 rounds under par with a pair of runner-up finishes and five overall finishes in the top-10.
