Gioia totaled five goals and five assists to finish with 10 points, breaking her previous program record and career high of nine. Torres' six goals also set a program record and marked a career high for the sophomore.
The 49ers outscored the Red Flash (1-4) 6-3 in the third quarter, extending their 9-6 halftime lead to 15-9. Leading 11-8, the Niners scored three straight goals while the Charlotte defense held Saint Francis scoreless for seven-plus minutes in the third period.
