KANNAPOLIS, N.C. – Charlotte men’s golf currently sits in 10th place at the Cabarrus County Irish Creek Collegiate after two rounds played on Saturday. The breezy conditions created a lot of havoc for not just the 49ers, but the entire 16-team field as only one team and seven individuals were able to put together rounds under par rounds on day one.
Seth Gandy had the best overall day for the 49ers carding a 71 (E) in round one followed by dropping his score to 68 (-3) in round two. Gandy’s 68 was the second best score of the afternoon round, only bested by Will Zalatoris’ 65 of Wake Forest.
