Frank the Tank - Charlotte Hornets suffer their second loss to the Boston Celtics, 102-89 Dec. 23 but positive signs coming from their 2015 draft pick, Frank Kaminsky.

In the absence of starting center Al Jefferson, Frank Kaminsky has taken full advantage of the playing time issued by head coach Steve Clifford, putting up a career high 23 points in 31 minutes Wednesday night. But before his playing career in the NBA, Kaminsky was once a young high school basketball player, just waiting for his chance to play in college.

Kaminsky flew under the radar as a three-star recruit coming out of Benet Academy in Lisle, Ill. In high school, Kaminsky was every bit of 6-foot-10, getting recruited by schools such as Wisconsin, DePaul, and Northern Illinois.
