NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Charlotte women's golf, currently ranked #15 in the country, opened up the Yale Invitational with a 298 (+14) to sit fourth after round one of play on Friday. Fowler once again led the way in the opening round and sits tied for sixth overall.
FOWLER, SUDOW LEAD TEAM
Fowler posted the best team score of the day with a one-over 72. The junior converted four birdies on the day, three on the back to card the 72. Fowler's four birdies on the day were tied for the second-most in the field. Ellinor Sudow finished two behind Fowler with her three-over 74 knocking down a trio of birdies with two on the front.
