Norfolk, Va. – The Charlotte 49ers (10-7, C-USA: 4-2) had four players score in double-figures but fell in a tightly contested game, 66-62, to the Old Dominion Monarchs (7-12, C-USA: 3-3).
Drew Edwards led the 49ers with 18 points, including connecting on four three-point field goals. Jordan Shepherd scored 15 points while also connecting on four three-point field goals. Jahmir Young added 11 points and grabbed six rebounds. Malik Martin rounded out the 49ers double-figure scorers with 10 points.
