CHARLOTTE, N.C. – For the first time in school history, a Charlotte volleyball player has been selected as the Sports Imports/AVCA National Player of the Week. Emani' Foster is the first Niner to win the award after her stellar play at Clemson last Saturday.
"We are ecstatic and so proud of Emani' being named AVCA National Player of the Week," began Head Coach Karen Weatherington. "She had a great offensive and defensive performance against an incredibly talented Clemson team. Emani' has had an incredible collegiate debut in three matches and has a bright future in Conference USA and on the national stage.
