Football Ends 2016 Season with 33-14 Loss at UTSA

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – In its final game of the 2016 season, the Charlotte football team dropped a 33-14 decision to the UTSA Roadrunners at the Alamodome Saturday night. The game marked the final appearance of Charlotte's 27 seniors, including the 19 young men that made up the "First Class", the first-ever recruiting class in program history just five years ago.

"I want to just thank them for taking a risk and coming to Charlotte to start this program," noted Head Coach Brad Lambert to begin his postgame interview. "They laid a great foundation for us and it has a chance to propel us forward as we move into the coming years.
