CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Four players from the Charlotte area, including two from neighboring Cabarrus County, one from Mecklenburg County and another from just over the state line in York County (S.C.), plus one from near the capital city of Raleigh have been unveiled as the latest members of the 49ers' women's soccer recruiting class as announced by head coach John Cullen Thursday.
This year's group of signees includes Kristy Campbell (Zebulon), Peyton Cullen (Concord), Selah Gaylor (York, S.C.), Ariana Maibodi (Charlotte) and Julia Patrum (Concord). The five players include three members of the Charlotte Soccer Academy club program and another who formerly saw time with the organization before joining the Discoveries Soccer Club.
