CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte women's soccer will make its longest road trip of the season this week, as it approaches the end of regular-season play with a trip to Texas for two Conference USA matches. The 49ers are slated to square off against UTEP in El Paso at 9 p.m. ET Thursday before moving on to San Antonio for a 1 p.m. ET Sunday clash with UTSA.
The Niners enter the road swing looking to snap a current three-game skid, which has dropped their record to 8-6 overall and 4-3 in league play. All three setbacks were one-goal decisions, extending that current stretch to five-straight contests.
