GAINESVILLE, Fla. / RALEIGH, N.C. – True freshman Riley Felts broke and set the Charlotte women's pole vault record at the Pepsi Florida Relays on Friday, March 39 at the Percy Beard Track in Gainesville, Fla. The 49ers utilized split squads, also competing at the Raleigh Relays hosted by NC State.
Felts, a freshman out of Matthews, N.C., claimed the new Charlotte 49ers women's pole vault record on Friday with a mark of 3.80m (12' 5.50").
Kyra Atkins made her mark on Friday as well, running to the second-fastest time in school history in the women's 100m hurdles.
