Lauren Harley was a constant fixture in the starting five for the Charlotte 49ers earlier this season – but that hadn't always been the case. After being unhappy with her performances her first two years, the junior has pushed through adversity to earn a consistent spot on the court.
After a stellar high school career, averaging 17.5 points per game in her senior campaign and garnering MVP nods in both her sophomore and junior years, Harley expected her successes to continue in the Queen City.
Her first year with the 49ers, the 5-foot-10 guard saw action in 24 games – recording double-digit minutes in seven of those games.
