CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Senior outfielder Emma Ocker has been named the Conference USA softball Co-Player of the Week, her first-career weekly honor, the conference announced Monday.
Ocker played a big hand in Charlotte's three games this past week, including contributions in the 49ers' two wins over Elon and Campbell.
Ocker hit .636 (7-for-11) in three games Feb. 13 – 17, extending her hitting streak to a team-high five games. The left-handed hitter tallied seven RBI for the 49ers, including three runs scored and two triples.
The Gilbert, Ariz. Native was 1-for-3 with two runs driven in, which aided Charlotte's 7-2 victory over Elon on Wednesday, Feb.
